In2Care Mosquito Station MCP (25/case) Black
The In2Care® Mosquito Station uses egg-laying Aedes and Culex mosquitoes to kill mosquito larvae inside and in surrounding breeding sites. This mechanism, known as autodissemination, occurs due to the attachment of a larvicide to the adult mosquito body when she comes in contact with the floater gauze. The second active ingredient on the gauze is a biological pest control agent (adulticide), a fungus that weakens the mosquitoes, prevents virus development, and kills the adult mosquitoes before they can transmit diseases such as Dengue fever, Chikungunya fever, and West Nile virus. The Mosquito Station performance and efficacy are field-validated and the results are published in scientific magazines.
In2Care Mosquito Station - set up instructions
To set up an In2Care Station, fill it with 4.7 liters (1.25 gallons) of water and activate it using the biocide-treated gauze strip included in the refill sachet. Attach the gauze to the floater component, ensuring it stays dry during installation. It’s best to position the Station at its final location before placing the gauze-floater assembly onto the water. Add the remaining powder and odor tablets from the sachet into the water. Finally, secure the lid with a twisting motion. Use the green time indicator to track when the Station was placed and when it needs servicing.
Where to place the In2Care Mosquito Station
Stations should be placed on solid, level ground in shaded, vegetated areas where mosquitoes are likely to breed. Ideal placement spots include corners of outdoor porches, beneath garden sinks, near shrubs, or other protected areas with nearby vegetation.
When to service the In2Care Mosquito Station
Refresh the Station every 4–6 weeks with a new refill sachet. Remove the used gauze strip and discard any dirty water. Then, refill the Station with clean water and install a new biocide-treated gauze strip, following the setup instructions.
How to secure the the In2Care Mosquito Station
For added stability on various surfaces, use securing tools such as ground pins or zip ties. The lid can also be fastened to the bucket with a zip tie.
