Phycomycin SCP (50lb)

Phycomycin SCP Algaecide and Oxidizer is a non-copper algaecide certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for use in drinking water. It targets blue-green algae and other susceptible species.The product is 100% soluble in water, rapidly dissociating to sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide molecules within minutes of granular application.

The hydrogen peroxide reacts in contact with organic materials (detritus, algae, etc.), rapidly forming water molecules and releasing dissolved oxygen into the water column. Due to the short residual time in its active state, there is required quick delivery of the dissolved granule to the immediate vicinity of the algae.

The product has a low level of toxicity to fish, aquatic invertebrates and other non-target organisms under field use. There are no general water use restrictions that are applicable at label rates.
