The 15w, 18" Shatterproof Bulb has a recommended effective life of 8000 hours, as well as a wavelength of 368nm-540nm (dual peak wavelength). The 15w, 18" Shatterproof Bulb also has Fluorinated Polymer (FEP) shatterproof coating, which allows 97% of effective UV light to pass through the coating.
